Exhibits

Our museum hosts an eclectic selection of scientific exhibits related to the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medicines. Our exhibits can be classified in five categories as follows:

Production Machinery

Our production equipment is arranged in two distinct categories: small-scale equipment for research and development (R&D) purposes and large-scale production machines.

Laboratory Equipment

Our range of laboratory instruments, also known as “analytical instruments”, contains some of the most common instruments used in the manufacturing of tablets, capsules, liquid syrups, powder syrups, gels/creams/ointments, topical sprays and suppositories.

Weighing Instruments

We display a number of balances and scales ranging from pan balances enclosed in beautiful wooden cases to electric/electronic scales spanning a period of many decades.

In Process Controls

We showcase some of the typical in-process controls carried out by the Production department in the various stages of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Books & Manuals

Our selection includes the series of Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines from 1983 to 2015 showing their development over the decades.
